About us

Arsod is an independent grouping of Sudanese citizens documenting and reporting human rights abuses throughout Sudan. Established in December 2018, we aim to inform the general public of the situation of human rights in the country. We are trained impartial citizen observers and are working solely for the benefit of Sudan and for its people.

Human rights abuses are committed by a variety of perpetrators in Sudan. They benefit from an environment of impunity that is created through a lack of public information and a system that fails to protect victims. Through documenting and reporting human rights violations, we hope to challenge the impunity of perpetrators and to assist in building a Sudan with respect for human rights.
