On August 10, 2020, Janjaweed militiamen attacked three young displaced persons in their farm in Kombo Jali, situated west of the city of Nertiti. The injured persons were issued a form 8 and were transferred to Nertiti Hospital for treatment. The victims were identified as:
- Nooh Abubakar Ismail, 22, injury to head;
- Shuaib Abubakar Adam Haroun, 15, injury to chest; and,
- Ismail Abubakar Adam Haroun, 18, injury to head and back.
