Ibrahim Karz (also known as Fadoula), a prominent member of a Resistance Committee located in Shangil Tobai, was killed by remnants of the former regime on April 16th, 2020. The 47 year-old was killed and two others injured in the attack in Al-Hai Al-Shimali area of Shangil Tobai situated 83km south of El Fashir.
Adam Omar, 37, and Sharif Mohamed Abdullah, 50, were taken to Shangil Tobai hospital for treatment following the attack.
Ibrahim Karz was not only a prominent member of the Resistance Committees, but he was also a revolutionary that stood with the victims of human rights abuses and shared solidarity with displaced persons in the Shangil Tobai camps.
